On October 14th, the opening ceremony of the 2024 China-U.S. Youth Cultural Exchange Program was held at our college, officially kicking off the seven-day study tour in Hangzhou. Attendees included Ye Ling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Xu Dan, Party Committee Member and Director of the International Cooperation Office; and relevant department heads.
Participants from both China and the United States engaged in a variety of fun icebreaker activities, visited College History Museum, Zhelijian Future Construction Center, Safety Experience Center and Virtual Simulation Training Base, and collectively experienced the history and culture of the college while appreciating the unique charm of modern architectural technology.
This program is not merely a geographical journey but also an exploration of architectural culture. Through this program, American youth can gain a deep understanding of the latest architectural technologies, appreciate the ingenuity and wisdom of ancient Chinese architecture, experience the poetic and picturesque charm of Chinese cities, and feel the craftsmanship and profound heritage of traditional Chinese art.
